Well done to all the pupils involved in the Amber Flag committee, the pupils of Ballygarvan National School and the teachers that supported them, Ms Coleman and Mr Jolly, on earning an Amber Flag for the school! Throughout the school year we have all enjoyed partaking in activities and initiatives organised by the committee that promote positive mental health practices across the school. Pupils from Ballygarvan had a blast taking part in the Ficheall network 'Hour of Chess Challenge'. Our Lá Fichille saw 70 students from the school chess club and beyond taking over the corridors and dressing up in chess themed costumes to enjoy a few games with one...
